21.4.1 Basic information about cookies

We use so-called cookies in some areas of our website, for example, to recognize the preferences of our visitors and to make the website as optimal as possible. This allows for easier navigation and a high level of usability on our website. Cookies also help us identify particularly popular areas of our website. Cookies are small files that are stored on a visitor hard disk. They allow information to be kept for a certain period of time and to identify the visitor's computer. For better user guidance and individual performance we use permanent cookies.

We also use so-called session cookies, which are automatically deleted when you close your browser. You can set your browser to inform you about the placement of cookies. This makes the use of cookies transparent to you. This is done to verify the authorization of actions and the authentication of the requesting user of our services. The legal basis is Article 6 Para 1 (c) i.V.m. Article 32 and Article 6 Para 1 (f) DSGVO (GDPR). Our legitimate interest is to secure our web server in order to to defend against attacks for example, and to ensure the functionality of our services.

However technically unnecessary cookies or our tracking software will only activated after you have given us your consent. [Agreed]

If you completely exclude the use of cookies, you will not be able to use individual functions of our website - including the possibility of cookie-based opt-out of tracking. Please allow the opt-out cookies of those services where you would like to stop tracking.

Please also keep in mind that deleting all cookies will result in opt-out cookies being deleted as well. You may have to reset them if necessary. Cookies are also browser-bound, e.g. they must always be set separately for each browser you use on each device you use. 21.4.3 Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google LLC ("Google"). Google Analytics uses so-called "cookies", text files that are stored on your computer that allow an analysis of the use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, by means of our IP anonymization procedure on this website, your IP address will be shortened by Google beforehand within member states of the European Union or other contracting states to the agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transferred to a Google server in the United States and shortened there.

On our behalf, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide further services related to website activity and internet user by the website operator. The IP address provided by Google Analytics as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data. One way to object to web analytics through Google Analytics is to set an opt-out cookie that instructs Google not to store or use your information for web analytics purposes. Please note that with this solution, the web analysis will only be made as long as the opt-out cookie is saved by the browser. If you want to set the opt-out cookie now, please click here.

You can also prevent the storage of cookies by setting your browser software accordingly; however we point out that in this case you may not be able to use all the functions of this website in full.
